GOLF ANNUAL STROKE COMPETITIONS

W. J. MCGAVOCK WINS SENIOR

HOME COURSE SCORES CONVERTED

The Canterbury Provincial Golf Association’s annual stroke competitions, played early last month, was won in the senior grade by the Avondale player, W. J. McGavock. In this competition entrants from all over the province play stroke rounus on their home courses, and their scores are converted to a common scratch score of 72.
