Jamell has been withdrawn from the Members’ Handicap. . Stiphero has been causing his trainer, F. W. Ellis, some concern since his poor showing at Winton, and he will not be a starter in the Members’ Handicap. He has shown little dash in his work this week, although he worked better today than he did on Tuesday morning. It has been decided to spell him for three or four weeks.
