SECOND TEST AT DUNEDIN

RUGBY FOOTBALL

ALL SEATS BOOKED

(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, August 29. j All available seating for the second Rugby test at Carisbrook between New . Zealand and Australia was quiekly taken when booking opened this morning. The doors opened at 7.15 a.m., and at 8.30 o’clock all seats, with the exception of a few round the ground, have been sold. 1 There were few seats available to the public. 1 Carisbrook today did not present a very impressive picture. A large part of the i ground has not recovered from the heavy rain of a few weeks ago. Between the i twenty-fives on the grandside side, the turf has the appearance of a ploughed , paddock. Both ends of the ground are firm and grassed, indicating that it has , been mainly line-out play that has caused deterioration of the surface. Mr N. Oliver, , the groundsman, said that only fine weather for the remainder of the week would give the ground a good playing surface for the test. Mr Oliver said he did not intend rolling the ground, but a final decision would be made on Friday. SOUTH AFRICA’S TEAM FOR THIRD TEST (N.Z.P.A.—Reuter— Copyright) PRETORIA, August 28. South.
