INDUSTRIES FAIR NEXT YEAR
MANUFACTURERS plan ‘‘HALL OF SCIENCE” The Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association has agreed to hold another New Zealand Industries Fair in the Transport Board’s Ferry road building in April and May of next year. A “Hall of Science” will be one of the main features of the exhibition, and it is hoped to have on display an example of how atomic energy can be utilised for industry and a prototype of the shell of a satellite. The following executive has been elected:—Messrs K. Dobson (chairman), R G. Pearce (publicity), F. S. Taylor (space), W. Dixon (lighting), W. Ollivier (building), D. Green (entertainment). J. R- Maddren (arts and crafts), A. H. Lee, J. Bradley, F. C. Penfold, L. H. Govern, and C. S. Peate. '-
