HOCKEY INDIANS WIN AT LEVIN
7 0 VICTORY OVER HOROWHENUA (New Zealand Press Association) LEVIN, August 10. The Indian Wanderers beat Horowhenua, 7-0. in a match played on a very soft ground in Levin today. Although badly in need of rest, the tourists played sparkling hockey. Horowhenua seldom got within striking distance of the tourists’ goal. Ttie scorers for the Indian Wanderers were Gurcharan Singh (2), Naresh Cfrander (2), R. S. Gentle, M. Gurdass, and Suraj Balrain.
