NATIONAL SKI TITLES
J. NIDEROST WINS LANGLAUF (New Zealand Press Association) INVERCARGILL. August 10. A 46-year-oid veteran, who had not skied competively for 13 years, won the gruelling langlauf event .when the New Zealand ski-ing championships were concluded at Coronet Peak yesterday. J. Niderost. professional to the Otago Ski Club, completed the nine-mlle course more than five minutes ahead of the run-ner-up, A. Divers, to take the open title. Divers won the amateur title and the Elworthy Cup. Murray Laird, of Otago University, won the ski jump title with a leap of 68ft. Ken Hamilton, of Southland, the title-holder, was second with a jump of 60ft Bin.
