FERRY CAPSIZES IN GANGES

32 Bodies Found (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) ALLAHABAD. June 9. At least 31 women and a 12-year-old boy drowned yesterday when a ferryboat carrying 60 people capsized in the Ganges about 10 miles from Allahabad. Thirty-two bodies <have been recovered and about 20 people were reported to have swum to safety. Rescue workers are still searching the river and banks. The death roll is expected to be higher. Most of the passengers were women grass cotters.
