TEACHERS’ SALARIES
DEPUTATION MEETS MR ALGIE (New Zealand Press Association)* ' WELLINGTON, April 19. Teachers’ salaries were discussed with the Minister of Education (Mr R. M. Algie) this morning by a combined deputation from the New Zealand Educational Institute and the Post-primary Teachers’ Association. The purpose of the deputation was to prepare for a meeting with the Prime Minister (Mr Holland) on Thursday to discuss salaries, with special reference to marginal adjustments, as granted to other State employees.
