WIDOWS OF SUPERANNUITANTS
Sir,—Some time ago a little help for the widows of superannuitants was suggested. Nothing seems to have come of the suggestion; and the cost •of living continues to go up. After all, we are a small minority, and who cares? Perhaps before the members of Parliament give themselves another rise it would be a good idea to remind Mr Holland that he did say he would look into the matter.—Yours, etc., ONE OF THEM. April 19, 1955.
