Sir, —Reading J. F. McCahon’s letter on international sanity, 1 ask the pertinent question why Sir Winston Churchill’s famous words, “We shall fight on the beaches, in the fields, in the streets and in the hills” has created him the great man of the century, while Malayans in Asia and the Mau Maus in Africa are labelled terrorists for similar utterances? Commonwealth troops are sent to rout them out find kill them in hundreds.—Yours, etc., I EQUITY. 1 April 1», 1955.
