Coffee Prices Reduced
several /vucKiana coffee packers have now reduced their retail prices after the slump in overseas markets. Reductions vary according to the grade of coffee packed, but in most cases they are small. A spokesman for a large packing firm said there might be further cuts in the retail price, but the outlook of the market was still uncertain. A great deal depended on the quality of .incoming shipments and on whether higher ’grade beans would have to be added to blends to maintain their quality.—(P.A.)
