ST. MARGARET’S COLLEGE
OLD GIRLS WELCOME NEW MEMBERS An enjoyable party was given by the St. Margaret’s College Old Girls’ Association last evening to welcome to the association girls who left school at the end of last year. The girls were welcomed by the president (Mrs VZ. L. Partridge) and introduced to the committee by former prefects. Guests of honour were Miss J. Crosher, headmistress of St. Margaret’s College, and Mrs Sydney Milne, an old girl of the association, who will again be training the debutantes for the debutante dance in April. Violin solos were played by Mary Ross, accompanied by Marie Scott Several girls who were in the school choir in former years gave items. Competitions and games made it a pleasant gathering, though most enjoyed the opportunity of renewing their school-day friendships.
