RELIEF SEWER IN USE TODAY
NEW SUBDIVISIONS TO BE SERVED
Christchu'rch’s southern * .relief sewer will be brought into use today, with the result that the prohibition on connexions in new subdivisions in Riccarton and Fendalton can be lifted. The following streets can be connected to the main sewer immediately:—Hampton street, Wallace street, Penhelig place, Wai-iti terrace extension, Chepstowe avenue, Verrin place, Ryeland avenue. Woodford terrace, Joyce crescent, Hanrahan street, Renfrew street, Chileombe street extension, and Melville street. A further list of streets will be announced by the Christchurch Drainage Board shortly.
