Was not a recent act of Parliament passed to protect historic sites’ This spot, as some correspondents have said, has an atmosphere of tranquility and peace, much needed in this present day. Let us start a subscription list There are many descendants of old families, whose forefathers are buried in that peaceful place, who would gladly support it. In this country, with its freedom from want and fear, its beauty and its moderate way of life, we owe much to the pioneers.
