MORE SHIPS FOR N.Z.

Lines Rearrange Schedules LONDON, Nov. 2. By a radical rearrangement of their programme, New Zealand Shipping Lines plan to provide New Zealand with as many snips to load in Dominion ports during January and February as would have been the case had the recent dock strike not occurred. A spokesman for the New Zealand Tonnage Committee said the plan rested on the assumption that normal working would continue in the United Kingdom and ships at present in port be discharged according to schedule. Seventeen ships will sail for the Dominion between now and the end of the year, and it is hoped they will be sufficient to deal with all cargo coming forward.
