Queen Mother Lunches With Mrs Roosevelt
HYDE PARK (New York), Nov. 2. Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother lunched here today with Mrs Eleanor goosevelt. She travelled along the ime roads as when she visited President and Mrs Roosevelt with ICing George VI 15 years ago. The two women had turkey for lunch in the cottage where the Queen Mother and her husband were first introduced to “hot dogs,” a favourite American snack. Crowds gathered at crossroads today to wave and cheer the Royal cavalcade as the Queen Mother’s big black Rolls Royce drove up the rainswept highway.
