ST. ALBANS CLUB The following officers were elected at the annual general meeting of the St. Albans Amateur Swimming Club this week:— Patron, Mr J. B. Mora; president, Mr W. J. Cowles; vice-presidents, 20 were elected; chairman, Mr R. C. Curtis; secretary, Mrs S. Hall; treasurer. Miss P. Curtis; club captain, Mr F. Stout; deputycaptain, Mr A. Malcolm; lady captain, Mrs E. Kirk; recorder and handicapper, Mrs S. Hall; committee, Messrs G. Stevens, L. Greenfield, W. Dean. G. Stevens, C. Willcox, and Gregg, Mrs Gregg, and Misses Rill Hall, M. Chapman, and L. Leeming; delegates to swimming centre, Mr Hall, Mrs Hall, and Mr Stout. RICCARTON CLUB Officers elected at the annual meeting of the Riccarton Amateur Swimming Club were:— Patron, Mr J. Bowman: president, Mr W. Cole; vice-presidents, 32 were elected; honorary secretary-treasurer, Mr T. J. Whitta; assistant-secretary, Mr Peter Corboy; club captain, Mr J. Corboy; deputyclub captain, Mr Peter Corboy; women’s captain, Mrs E. R. Whitta; junior captain, Mr Paul Corboy; auditors, Messrs W. Cole, L. C. Crequer, and A. C. Rhodes: trustees, Messrs W. Cole, T. Whitta, and N. Cain; delegates to Canterbury centre, Messrs T. Whitta and Peter Corboy; delegate to Royal Life Saving Society, Mr J. T. Shepherd; committee, Messrs B. Aitchison, P. Corboy, M. Foss, and Walther, Mesdames E. R. Whitta and Fewtrell, and Misses V. Nicholls and Y. Nicholls.
