OBITUARY
MISS C. V. ANDERSON A link with the older generation/ of teachers under the Canterbury Edur cation Board was severed recently by the death of'Miss Caroline Violet Anderson. Her experience dated back to the da£s when the board’s offices in the Normal School building were staffed by the secretary and an assistant. She taught in many country schools when communications and general conditions were in marked con-, trast to those of today. J Miss Anderson’s association with the Church of England went back to Bishop Harper. Miss Anderson was the last survivaq; JO 3uina; ;uea3Bd ona ing daughter of Mr and Mrs Joseph John Anderson.
