TOURBILLON DIES
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) PARIS, July 19. Mr Marcel Boussac’s world famous stallion Tourbillon died today at the age of 20. More than 20 of the best known stud horses sired by Tourbillon are now at the stud in Britain, Argentina, Brazil, Soutn Africa, Australia, and the United States. Tourbillon himself had a' first-class racing career and won, among other races, the Prix du Jockey Club in 1931. Tourbillon was by Ksar from Durban by Durbar (son of Rabelais). He was grandsire of Targui, and also sire of the granddam of this Djebel horse, which is at the Sasanof Stud, Hastings.
