Earl of Inchcape Divorced.— The Earl of Inchcape, aged 37, was granted a divorce yesterday in Edinburgh on the ground of desertion. Lady Inchcape, who did not defend the action, was formerly Mrs Aline Hannay, widow of a war-time pilot. She and Lord Inchcape were married in 1941. Lady Inchcape retains custody of the three children, Viscount Gienapp, the 11-year-old heir to the earldom, a 13-year-old daughter, and a seven-year-old son.—London, July 18.
