£3FO STOLEN FROM STRONGROOM

Thieves who broke into the garage of Palmer and Doak. Ltd., in Rangiora, on Thursday night and stole about £360, had no difficulty in getting into the strongroom. They found the key in an office draw r er.

Entry was gained through an unfastened fanlight about 10 feet from the ground, though when they got inside the building the thieves had to force open the office door. They took about £250 in money and £ll5 in cheques from the strongroom.
