"The Press” Special Service WELLINGTON, July 17. The weather has been fine for most of the week, and the going will be easy for the Manawatu Hunt Club’s meeting at Awapuni tomorrow. The double will be on the Tararua Hack Handicap and the Hunt Cup Steeplechase. Scratchings today were Green Light and Broiemint (Kennels Steeplechase), Karldon (Hunt Cup), and Gold Chief (Hautere Hack Handicap). Selections:— 11 a.m.—Kiwitea Ladies’ Bracelet: Herengawe, Optician, Mary Tudor. 11.42 a.m.—Kennels Hack Steeplechase: Windfall, Game Felous, Incision. 12.27 p.m.—Kimbolton Maiden Stakes: First Division: Just Jo, Navaho. Second Division: Devastator, Prince Charles. 1.17 p.m.—Tararua Hack Handicap: Whitehall, King's Pal, Nauru. 2.2 p.m.—Pukehou Hack Hurdles: Leighford, Dinkum, Viewfield.
2.47 p.m.—Manawatu Hunt Cup:. Gay Echo, Rhodesian Gold, Ivanhoe.
3.32 p.m.—President’s Handicap: Puketoi, Baraden, Fir Bolgs.
4.27 p.m.—Hautere Hack Handicap: First Degree, Hushah, Golden Torch.
