Chimney Fires.— The Christchurch Fire Brigade answered calls to two chimney fires yesterday. At 92 a.m. a call was received to a house at 37 Saxon street, occupied by Dorothy Margaret Kennington, and at 9.6 p.m. the brigade answered a call to a house occupied by Claude Foster at 137 Tancred street. There was no damage from either fire.
