QUEEN’S HORSE FINISHES THIRD
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, July 12 -_ The Eclipse Stakes was won by Mr Boussac's four-year-old, Argur (Djebel— BouilNa Biassed), 9-0, ridden by E. Elliott. The four-year-old Guersant, 9-7, Blanc, was second, and the Queen’s three-year-old, Aureole, 8-9, Carr, was third. The winner was trained by J. Glyn in France.
Seven started. Five lengths; four lengths. Time, 2min lOO to 9, 11 to 8, 9 to 2. The race was worth £12,830, of which the winner received £10,905.
