July 10, 1953.

Sir, —l fully agree that the churches seem to have become sterile and the time has come when man should realise that the Kingdom of God is within himself. That saying is quoted often, and seemingly passed over lightly. How many truly realise that it is so? I shall give seekers a clue which I have found invaluable. Have a look at psychic research. Some people will say that it is impossible —or wrong—to try to understand these things. I say to them, nay, seek to educate yourselves, and put up with incomplete understanding no longer. —Yours, etc., M. July 10. 1953.

Sir, —There are more than 600 religious sects in the West and goodness knows how many in the East, all preaching toe brotherhood of man. “Lead Kindly Light" wishes to add yet another. It is obvious that if there is true religion then only one among this vast number is true. Until such time as ail mankind finds and accepts this one true religion, we must of necessity, in justice, have our different broadcasts. The opinion that the churches will become obsolete has been voiced by men of strong intellect and men of strong hands in every generation, from the dawn of history unlit now. The churches still stand and grow more numerous, even in this, the enlightened twentieth century.—Your: etc., MAC. July 8, 1953.
