FARM WORKERS
, Sir, —Every other day we read of the urgent need for farm workers to Kush farm production along. But what appens when the “worker” is employed? The farmer who needs the help slackens off. spends more time in town (especially when there is a bit of really hard work),*and just loafs generally. It is not the farm worker who is needed so much as a farmer who will pull his weight in this work of national importance.—Yours, etc., ONE WHO SEfcS. June 23, 1953.
