MONTHLY MEETING It was announced at the monthly meeting of the board of directors of the Young Women’s Christian Association that the sum of £32 was raised at a recent jumble sale in aid of the general funds. Tentative plans were made for the forthcoming visit of Miss' L. Barnes, world president of the association. The secretary’s report on the Latimer Hostel said tnat the hostel was full, and that the girls in residence took full responsibility for the Sunday Club, with help from other groups, and for tea for young men in military training and also new settlers. It was reported that the World Week of Prayer would be observed from November 8 to 14. The topic will be “A Way of Life,” Members expressed interest in the visit of Miss Ailsa Blakey, activities secretary for the national office, on June 30. . . -U.-
