KINDERGARTEN PROPOSED FOR DARFIELD
An enthusiastic meeting of young mothers in the Darfield district was held recently to discuss the possibility of establishing a kindergarten at Darfield. The meeting was addressed by the Dominion president of the Kindergarten Association (Mrs Johnston), who outlined the procedure necessary to establish a centre. A committee was formed to arrange ways and means to raise the £3OO needed before a kindergarten can be opened.
