JAPAN TO SEIZE SHIPS (Rec. 11.30 p.m.) TOKYO, April 9. The Japanese Government would seize any ships found carrying strategic materials to Communist China from Japan, a Transport Ministry spokesman said today. He denied reports from Formosa that six Chinese Communist vessels were engaged in such trade. We have never heard of Chinese Communist ships coming to Japanese ports. Most of the ships run- " ning from Japan .to Communist China are British,” he said.
