SOVIET ENVOY TO CHINA

CHANGE ANNOUNCED IN REPRESENTATION (Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON. March 10. The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister (Lir Vassili Kuznitzov) has been appointed Soviet Ambassador to China, replacing Mr A. S. Panyushkin, the Moscow Radio announced today. r he announcement said that Mr Panyushkin had been transferred to other duties, but did not name his new position. Mr Kuznitzov was released from his post of chairman of the Soviet Trade union Movement a few days ago in the Soviet Government changes which followed Stalin’s death. He was then named a Deputy Foreign Minister.
