STALIN’S DEATH
Sir, —“Looking Ahead” writes unwisely. Stalin’s place in the world will be determined by spiritual law, not man’s. The element of love' in his heart, motive and the ways and means will assess it. He will receive by an immutable law his just place, no more, no less, as does every being. Better to send a loving thought for his soul than grow excited about lis epitaph. But to feel that he should oin the hierarchy of angels may be a lope that cannot be fulfilled yet. Hate begets hate; it is the law. “Looking Ahead” must try to understand the purpose of man’s sojourn 'On earth. It is not to live for the appetites alone People, no doubt, will argue like fanatics. and yet not know the true effort of Stalin’s impact upon our world, for not even in a thousand years will its influence, good and bad. end.—Yours.
