TINY TOWN

AT THE SHOW The main feature of Tiny Town attraction at the Christchurch A. & P. Show is the “Gympie Goldmine,” which constitutes a show on its own. Yet it is only one small part of the exhibition. There is also Harlem, a model of the American negro settlement, complete to the smallest detail. The model of Tiny Town itself includes among many other interesting spectacles, a Tiny Town Bank being erected by bricklayers, carpenters and other tradesmen; a Radio Station in full swing, complete with announcer, singer and musicians, a cafe packed to capacity during the lunch hour rush. There is a public park; also a Palais de Dance, and a beautiful illuminated ballroom with band and dancers, and a showboat which is an exact replica of the well-known Sydney Harbour Showboat. In all, Tiny Town is a very interesting and amusing show. This show has been under Vice-Regal Patronage.
