MR DOIDGE IN ENGLAND

(Rec. 8.20 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 15. The New Zealand High Commissibner (Mr F. W. Doidge) arrived at Southampton to-day in the Ruahine. Mr Doidge said he was looking forward keenly to the new post. “As High Commissioner I shall be able to do more than I have done before for the ties of Empire, particularly in trade expansion. New Zealand proudly claims to be the most loyal part of the Empire and Commonwealth.” Mr Doidge said.
