MRS A. G. HENDERSON
After a very long illness Mrs Henderson, wife of Mr A. G. Henderson, formerly editor of the “Star Sun” and a member of a well-known Canterbury family, died in Christchurch on Saturday night. Mrs Henderson, formerly Miss Perl Plunkett, was born in Detroit. Michigan, United States of America, but since her marriage had lived continuously in Christchurch. Gentle-mannered, kindly and gracious, Mrs Henderson took litttle part in public life but devoted herself to the care of her home and her family. She is survived by her husband, one daughter and two sons, one of whom lives in Wellington and the other in Christchurch.
