CORRIEDALE SHEARING

The panel of inspectors appointed by the Corriedale Sheep Society to carry out inspection and certification of Corriedales for the shorn classes at A. and P. society shows this season has been announced by the society. No Cerriedale will be accepted for exhibition at the Canterbury A, and P show in the shorn classes unless the entry is accompanied by a certificate showing that the sheep has been inspected within two weeks of shearing, and has been machine shorn on or after October 1, 1951. Breeders intending to show sheep should approach the inspector for their area. The list is as follows:—Otago. Mr C. M. Bruce, Dunedin; South Canterbury, Mr C. H. S. Johnstone, St. Andrews; Darfield-Ellesmere, Mr R. S. Gunn, Darfield; Waipara County, Messrs R. B. Kellock, Hawarden, and F. K. Forrester, Hawarden; Amuri, Mr J. L. Macfarlane, Waiau; Marlborough, Mr B. S. Trolove, Kekerangu. The Ashburton A. & P. Association has decided to appoint its own inspectors, and has named Messrs H. D. Withell and R. Cochrane.
