ENGLISH AMATEUR TO PLAY IN N.Z.
(New Zealand Press Assocutnom WELLINGTON, Aug. 31. Philip Scrutton, a plus 1 English amateur golfer, who played in the international matches against Wales, Ireland, and Scotland last year, will compete in the New Zealand golf championships at Titirangi next month. Scrutton, who is a member of the Sunningdale Club. Berkshire, is now in Australia and will fly to Auckland for the tournament. Scrutton is 27. He is on a seven-month golfing holiday.
