SHIPS COLLIDE IN FOG

(Rec. 8 p.m.) VANCOUVER, Aug. 30 The passenger vessels Prince Rupert (3379 tons) and the Princess Kathleen (5908 tons), which were involved in a collision off British Columbia to-day, reached the port of Prince Rupert finder their own power this evening. The ships collided almost head-on in fog-shrouded Chatham Sound. The force of the impact threw many of the passengers on both ships from their bunks, but no one was injured. Company officials denied earlier reports that the Princess Kathleen s passengers had been transferred to the Prince Rupert
