DAVIS CUP TENNIS
(Rec, 11 p.m.) MELBOURNE, August 30.
The Australian Lawn Tennis Association announces that Sweden and the United States will play the Davis Cup inter-zone final in Melbourne late this year. Tentative dates are December 13. 14, and 13. The Kooyong courts, Melbourne, can accommodate 7500 spectators. The winner will play Australia for the cup at Sydney on December 26, 27, and 28.
This is the first time an inter-zone final has been played in Australia.
