MR LAKE ADDRESSES WATERSIDERS
Mr H. R. Lake, the National Party candidate for Lyttelton, addressed a meeting of between 400 and 500 watersiders and others on the waterfront at Lyttelton during the lunch hour yesterday. The meeting began with much heckling and booing, but the later part of the meeting was orderly. Mr Lake was accorded a vote of thanks. A further motion, that the meeting express confidence in the Labour Party, was declared carried by the mover.
