Second Mustang Arrives.—The second of several Mustang fighters to be used by the Central School of Flying at the Royal New Zealand Air Force station, Wigram, arrived in Christchurch from Ardmore on Tuesday. The aircraft, piloted by Flight Lieutenant F. L. Rayburn, flew the distance of 520 miles in 1 hour 20 minutes—about 400 miles an hour. Another Mustang is expected at Wigram next week. ’ |
