Rayner, and W. Yorke. The creche was in charge of Mrs J. G. Aldous.

Mrs Neta Neale (Cambridge terrace) has been judging at the Eiffelton which ran for a season of three nights. The drama shield was won by the Methven society. Mrs E. Pitcaithly presided at the first meeting for the year of the Christchurch Business and Professional Women s Club held in Hay’s Lounge. An entertaining talk on her visit to England, Scotland and Ireland was given by Miss Fiddis, and the art of making dried floral pictures was demonstrated by Mesdames O’Brien and Cox. Miss E. Bull thanked Miss Fiddis and the demonstrators.

A branch of Columba College Old Sr' rls - Association has been formed in Wellington with about 22 members. The president is Mrs J. R. Dench, formerly of Christchurch, who, some years ago, was largely instrumental in forming the Christchurch branch of the association.
