<Ree. 6.30 $£ Ig?HINGTOK. 1 g? HINGTOK . Augurt Senator Pat McCarran (Democrat Nevada) said to-day that he considered an all-out war with the Soviet Union inevitable. He made the statement in commenting on the decision by the Senate Judiciary Committee to seek additional funds to continue its investigation of United States Internal Security. Senator McCarran is chairman of the committee. “This country is faced with an inevitable all-out war. To alert America to the danger is the aim and object of this committee,” he said. “We will have enemies enough on the outside. We must protect the country from within.” The committee had uncovered evidence. he said, that enemies of the United States in the past had held high posts in the United States Government. .“This could happen again unless we protect against it,” he added.
