He will leave Greymouth at the tu d month. Mr Harris is the West Coast table tennis champion. He was a West Coast basketball representative and is at present a senior selector. Mr F. Smith, of the Aeradio oration, Hokitika, has been appointed to replace Mr Harris. Nurse P. Johnson, of Ashburton, has joined the staff of the Grey Hospital to complete her training.
Business Changes Hands The Norcas Fish Supply at Greymouth, has changed hands. It will be mKen over at the end of July from Mrs E. Rostern, the present owner, by Mr E. Preston, of Greymouth.
OBITUARY MR S. SYMMERS The death has occurred at Greymouth of Mr Stewart Symmers, a well-known resident of Runanga, at the age of 67. Born at Arbroath, Scotland, Mr Symmers came to New Zealand as a young man. He settled in the Buller district and engaged in coal mining work. He later lived at Blackball and then at Runanga. Besides his wife Mr Symmers leaves one son and one daughter. MR J. G. CALDWELL The death has occurred at Wellington of Mr James Gordon Caldwell, of Brooklyn, a member of a wellknown West Coast family at the age of 40. Mr Caldwell was a marine steward of the Monowai. He was born at Runanga. Besides his wife, Mr Caldwell is survived by a son, five brothers and two sisters.
