STRUGGLE AGAINST COMMUNISM
Sir, —“Sebago,” in his letter of April 3, complains that the policy of the Western Powers is dominated by the fear of Soviet aggression and the spread of Communism, and says that because we are seized in the grip of this fear we desire to rearm countries which were recently our most bitter enemies in order to fight our former allies. “Sebago” must either have a very short memory or have been too young at the time (1917) to appreciate the full significance of the actions of the present ruler of Communist Russia, when he and his revolutionary followers arrested the whole Imperial Russian familydragged them from their beds and shot them in cold blood, and then treacherously betrayed Britain and America after helping them through the last war.—Yours, etc., BE PREPARED. April 11, 1951.
