MAGISTRATE’S COURT AT RANGIORA
For breaches of the traffic regulations, penalties were imposed by Mr Rex. C. Abernethy. SM, in the Magistrate’s Court at Rangiora yesterday, as follows: Driving without due care and attention: Ernest William Stevens, 30s. Aiding persons without drivers' licences to drive motor vehicles: Frederick George Paget, 30s; Stanley Francis Clark, £l. No driver's licence: Robert Bruce McKay, £l. No warrant of fitness: Dick Harley Pachnatz, 10s.
Judgment Summonses On a judgment summons, B. J. Mora was ordered to pay Hurst and Drake, Ltd. (Mr A. C. Perry), £69 4s Id, in default 70 fays’ Imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long a*. 10s weekly is paid. James Eric John Pettersen was ordered to pay H. O. Jacobsen (Mr A. C. Fraser) £8 8s 6d forthwith, in default nine cays’ imprisonment. Possession Claim* Adjourned Possession of a dwelling in Waikari was clauned by the Waikari Lime Company (Mr A. C. Perry) from Harry Mather Hawthorne (Mr E. D. R. Smith). The company also claimed possession of a dwelling in Waikari from James Uracey McFarlane (Mr Smith). Both cases were adjourned sine die for legal argument.
