BOYS’ BRIGADE CAMP AT WAIPARA
OPENING BY SIR BERNARD FREYBERG (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 8. The Governor-General (Sir Bernard Freyberg, V.C.), who is New Zealand patron of the Boys’ Brigade, has consented to open the silver Jubilee Dominion camp at Waipara on December 38. The camp will continue until January 8. Eleven Australians and one member of the Singapore Battalion will be {•resent. It is also expected that at east one officer of the London Battalion will attend. The Auckland Battalion will have the largest representation among the 1600 campers with 350. Wellington Battalion will have more than 200, and Christchurch is sending 120.
