7 p.m.) CAPE TOWN, Sept. 5. the price of 144 Ad was realised for Merino wool at the Port Elizabeth «-es to-day—9d below the South Afriau record set at Cape Town yesterday. At Port Elizabeth 7730 bales of «enno were offered and 99 per cent was sold for a total of £750.000. One netted £ 40.000. and many more toan £20.000 buyers made the strongest e mand against keen British and German competition.
