FOUR PREMISES BROKEN INTO
MOTOR-CAR STOLEN FROM GARAGE Four premises were broken into in during the week-end and an attempt was made to enter other premises. A motor-car, the property of A. S. Paterson and Company, Ltd., was stolen from the garage of Greer and Gee. 83 Victoria street. A small safe, containing about £2 in money, was stolen from the office of Atkinson Son. Ltd., engineers, 184 Carlyle street. The safe was recovered at Governors Bay yesterday by the police. About £ 1 10s was stolen when the premises of F. W. Larcombe, Ltd., printers. 18 Bedford row, were broken into, and a small sum was stolen from the service station of Hewitt and Warring. at the corner of Colombo and SaHsbury streets. An attempt was made to break into the premises of Briscoe and Co., Ltd., 223 Cashel street.
