Considerable intei est is said to have been shown in it abroad, and it is expected to become a valuable export of G.E.C.’s. Dunedin Stock Exchange Pty., Ltd.— A final dividend of 4 per cent, (making < per cent, for the year) is payable at the meeting on June 19.—ex June Anthony Hordern Year.—The net profit oi Anthony Hordern and Sons. Ltd., Sydney. tor the year ended February 22. shows a decline of £24,798 to £125,374’ result was reached after providing £lOl/ more for depreciation at £86,981 and £212,114 for taxation. Ordinary dividend is maintained at 6 per cent requiring £75.000, while the 6 per cent, pr ference payment absorbs £45.000. No appropriation is made to reserves. A sum of £25,000 was transferred in the previous year. Carry-forward is £47,272. against £41.898 brought in. The directors state that sales again showed a satisfactory increase, but the benefits were minimised by the increased expenses of carrying on the business.
