DEFEAT OF GREEK GUERRILLAS
STATEMENT BY REBEL RADIO LONDON. November 4. The Greek guerrilla radio to-night announced that the Greek Communist Party’s general committee had adopted a resolution admitting that it had been defeated. The resolution said: “The encounter in August with Monarcho-Fascists at Grammes and Vitsi obliged us to fight against numerically superior forces. The central committee has decided to transfer to the mountains our forces in central and southern Greece. From there they are to open a strong movement.”
